Built on a Career of Showing Up for People

My name is Pam Wood, and my path to bookkeeping isn't exactly traditional.

I spent 25 years working as a medic. In that world, the details aren't paperwork — they're everything. You show up, you stay calm, you get it right, and you do it for the person in front of you who is counting on you completely.

After my EMS career, life took me across the country — eleven moves in ten years, following my husband's career. I worked where I could: call centers, billing departments, customer service roles. At one point, I was the person families called when they needed to access funds left behind by someone they had just lost — guiding people through legal processes during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Through all of it, the through-line was simple: show up for people, handle the details they can't, and make things a little easier.

That's what P. Wood Bookkeeping is. I'm QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certified and Payroll Certified, and I'm building a practice rooted in trust, accuracy, and genuine care for every business I work with.
